AHY Said SBY's Father Did Not Attend The Ceremony At IKN Because He Returned To Pacitan

Chairman of the Democratic Party Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) said his father Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono was unable to attend the proclamation ceremony on August 17, 2024 in the capital city of Nusantara (IKN), East Kalimantan, because he was about to return to his hometown. "He already has what his name is, the activities are planned in advance. The ceremony is in Pacitan, in his hometown," said AHY who is also the Minister of ATR/BPN briefly, after attending the Plenary Cabinet Session at the Garuda Palace, IKN, East Kalimantan, Monday. The proclamation commemoration ceremony will be held on August 17, 2024 at the Garuda IKN Palace and Jakarta. Technically, the military ceremony will be held at IKN, which is led directly by President Joko Widodo. Meanwhile at the Merdeka Palace, the Vice President and invited guests will attend the online ceremony at IKN.

The Ministry of State Secretariat invited the previous President to attend a ceremony at IKN, while the previous Vice President was invited to attend a ceremony from the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta.
