JAKARTA - A black luxury sedan driver almost got angry when he crossed Cengkareng Market, West Jakarta. The incident went viral on social media.

The car driven by a man dressed in a Perlente surrounded by an furious mob for his actions. From the video circulating on Sunday, August 11, it can be seen that a number of residents who carried out a car siege also damaged the windshield of the car.

Residents hit and broke the glass because the car tried to escape after hitting a merchant's cart.

Cengkareng Police Chief Kompol Hasoloan Situmorang said the incident began when the car grazed a shop around the scene. Then residents suspected that if the driver wanted to run away, it was finally prevented.

"Members have checked the scene," said Police Commissioner Hasoloan when confirmed, Sunday, August 11.

The results of the location inspection showed that the police dug up information from security officers around the location and were still looking for eyewitnesses to the incident.

"There is no information from residents, only from local security," he said.

To this day, no victims have been harmed as a result of the incident which made an official report at the Cengkareng Police. Police are still waiting for the victim's report.

"No one has reported it to the Sector Police yet," he said.
