JAKARTA - Former Governor of West Java, Ridwan Kamil said he officially received the green light from Golkar Party Chairman Airlangga Hartato to run as a candidate for governor of Jakarta.

RK explained that the formal announcement regarding him running as a candidate for governor of Jakarta will be announced after the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM) finds a candidate for deputy governor to accompany him.
Until now, KIM and the Golkar Party are still working on who are the right figures to accompany Ridwan Kamil.
RK himself admitted that he was not asked by the party to look for the right representative to accompany him in the Jakarta regional elections. He admitted that he was ready to be paired with anyone.
"I have had two regional elections with my representative, I am harmonious. I love after marrying, whoever was paired with the points by the coalition to me. I have been proven, God willing, it will be harmonious," said RK.
