Toddlers Victims Of Persecution In Cilincing Still Not Aware In Karumkit, Police Hospital

JAKARTA - After undergoing intensive care for one week in the ICU room of the Kramat Jati Police Hospital (RS), East Jakarta, the health condition of a toddler with the initials MFW (1.5), a victim of abuse in Cilincing, is still unconscious.

"Not yet aware, but there has been improvement. There has been significant progress," said Head of the Kramat Jati Police Hospital, Brigadier General Hariyanto, to reporters, Tuesday, August 6.

Currently, MFW is still undergoing intensive care. The team of doctors at the National Police Hospital is also still installing oxygen ventilators in the victim's respiratory area.

"Still using a ventilator. Yesterday we tried to breathe spontaneously, but some time we needed to install another breathing apparatus," he said.

MFW toddlers began undergoing treatment after suffering serious head injuries and being treated in the ICU for children.

"It's still up to now, but there are developments, improvements. But still using a ventilator or breathing aid," he said.

Without a ventilator, the victim was unable to breathe spontaneously and the ventilator was finally installed again.

"God willing, the next few days will be (improved). Our prayers, hopefully, are good," he said.

Previously, it was reported that a toddler with the initials MFW (1.5), a victim of abuse by foster parents at a rented Jalan Tipar Cakung, Sukapura, Cilincing District, North Jakarta, was still undergoing intensive treatment at the Kramatjati Police Hospital.

MFW suffered a brain membrane hemorrhage based on the results of the CT scan of the Kramatjati Police Hospital, East Jakarta on Thursday, August 1. MFW is a victim of abuse by the perpetrators Aji Aditama (25) and Tofantia Aranda Stevhanie (21), his wife.

"The victim W has used breath assistance, severe head injury conditions. There has been a CT scan of bleeding in the brain membrane, then there is swelling in the brain, and there are bruises on the head, chest, back, stomach, and so on," said Head of the Kramat Jati Police Hospital, Brigadier General Hariyanto to reporters, Thursday, August 1.

MFW is currently still being treated intensively in the ICU room for children. MFW is being treated by a sub-ICU pediatrician. Then also treated by a neurosurgeon, and a nutritionist.

A number of specialist doctors have operated on the baby to evacuate the bleeding in his brain.
