TANGERANG - Police arrested a farmer with the initials N (42) alias Baron who was suspected of killing his colleague with the initials MS (74) in Cilampe Village, Teluknaga, Tangerang Regency.
Tangerang Metro Police Chief Kombes Zain Dwi Nugoroho said the incident occurred on Thursday, August 1, at 11.00 WIB.
"The perpetrator with the initials N alias Baron (42) is a fellow land farmer based in the village. Then the perpetrator is wanted and secured," said Zain in his statement, Tuesday, August 2.
Zain explained that the incident was revealed starting with the excitement of the family who was looking for the whereabouts of the victim who never came home until 18.00 WIB.
Furthermore, the victim's family conducted a search, it turned out that the victim had been lying stiff with a number of wounds ranging from head to face in his garden.
"He was found dead in a garden in a lifeless condition full of wounds to the head and face," he said.
After the incident, the victim's family reported it to the police. Then, the police who received the information carried out an investigation until they finally arrested the perpetrator at his home in the Teluknaga area, Tangerang Regency, Thursday, August 1, evening.
"The perpetrator admitted that he was the one who killed the victim. So on that basis the perpetrator was immediately taken to the Teluknaga Police for further processing," he said.
Currently, the perpetrator has been named a suspect and charged with Article 338 of the Criminal Code or Article 351 paragraph 3 with a threat of 15 years in prison.
