Central Java Police held a traditional ceremony to welcome the new Central Java Police Chief, Brigadier General Ribut Hari Wibowo, with the tradition of Pora Swords which took place from the gate to the lobby of the Central Java Police Headquarters, Friday, August 2.

The welcoming ceremony was led by the Deputy Chief of the Central Java Police, Brigadier General Pol Agus Suryo Nugroho, and was attended by the PJU ranks of the Central Java Police and members of Bhayangkari.

The procession began with a report on the situation of the Makopolda and then the Deputy Chief of Police to the Central Java Police Chief Brigadier General Ribut Hari Wibowo, followed by the handover of flowers by the Deputy Chairperson of Bhayangkari for the Central Java Region to the Chairman of Bhayangkari for the Central Java Region.

Furthermore, Brigadier General Pol Ribut Hari Wibowo passed through the gates of the sword, a tradition that symbolizes high respect and appreciation.

After the procession of the broken sword, the Central Java Police Chief walked towards the lobby, passing through the line of honor accompanied by all the Main Officials (PJU) with the grandson of Gatotkaca's wayang lampah who were strength and courage.

In the unit report session, Komjen Pol Ahmad Luthfi conveyed several important things to the Central Java Police Chief, he emphasized that the good and bad of unity was determined by the personal attitude of each member of the National Police in Central Java. According to him, the better the attitude of individual members, the better the overall unit of the Central Java Police.

The Central Java Police Chief expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome and support given by all ranks. He also stated that the stability of the kamtibmas during the leadership of Komjen Pol Ahmad Luthfi was always safe and conducive.

"The stability of security and social security in Central Java during his leadership (Komjen Pol Ahmad Luthfi) is always safe and conducive, all programs that have been implemented and are good will be continued," he said.
