SemarANG - Semarang City Police Investigators check the condition of the house on Jalan Abdurrahman Saleh, Semarang City, Central Java, which is used to create horror story video content on YouTube and TikTok social media to the detriment of its owners.

Head of the Certain Crime Unit of the Semarang Police Satreskrim AKP Johan Widodo said the check was a follow-up to the police investigation.

After checking, the police also confiscated a number of evidences that were suspected to be the property used to create the horror house content.

Johan explained that the Semarang Polrestabes followed up on the report of the owner of the house with the initials AH regarding the alleged violation of the Electronic Information and Transaction Law.

According to him, investigators will immediately summon the horror home content creators for questioning.

"We will also ask for expert opinion from Kominfo to find out the follow-up to this case," he said.

Previously, AH, the owner of a house on Jalan Centuryrahman Saleh, Semarang City, reported six content creators to the police for making horror video content about his home on social media YouTube and TikTok.

Three YouTubers and three members of Tik Tok celebrity were reported by AH to the Central Java Regional Police and Semarang Polrestabes on suspicion of entering the yard without permission, vandalism, theft, and defamation.

As a result of the horror content located in AH's house, the property, which is in the process of being sold, was canceled.

AH said the two posts about the horror house had been deleted, but no content creator has yet apologized for the video creation.
