Kamala Harris Challenges Trump On The Debate Stage, Insinuated Don't Just Dare To Talk Behind

JAKARTA - United States (US) Vice President Kamala Harris challenged former President Donald Trump to compete on the debate stage while campaigning as a presidential candidate in Atlanta. Trump was asked not to just talk 'on the sidelines'.

"He's not going to argue, but he and his partner seem to have a lot of opinions about me," Harris said.

"Donald, I hope you reconsider meeting me on the debate stage, because as the saying goes, if you want to say something, just say it directly in front of me," Harris continued.

The debate between Trump and Biden was planned for September 10 before Biden withdrew from his candidacy.

On Monday, Trump told Fox News he wanted to argue but he could also make excuses not to do that.

Kamala Harris describes herself as an unseeded party in the competition against Trump. But according to him the momentum in this competition is changing.

"And there are signs that Donald Trump is feeling it," he said.

This is Kamala Harris' first visit to Georgia since President Biden ended his re-election campaign. His campaign is trying to keep the battlefield going.

Kamala Harris, a candidate from the Democratic Party, recorded the importance of state moments in her speech.

"I am very clear, the road to the White House passes through this state," Harris said.

"You all helped us win in 2020 and we will do it again in 2024," he stressed.

Biden narrowly won in the state against former President Donald Trump four years ago a rare win in the state that did not support Democratic Party candidates as president for nearly three decades.

It was Biden's poor performance in Atlanta's fight against Trump in June that ultimately caused Biden to step down from his candidacy.

Kamala Harris also explained several priorities for her future government, including returning border laws, rising rental prices to medical expenses.
