JAKARTA - Iranian President-elect Masoud Pezeshkian, who will be inaugurated today, confirmed that Iran's support for the Palestinian nation and the struggle to liberate Al-Quds will not change, no matter who rules the country.
He conveyed this when meeting with the Secretary-General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement Ziad al-Nakhalah on Monday night. Ziad came to Iran to participate in the presidential inauguration ceremony.
"Supporting the struggle of the oppressed Palestinian nation will continue with strength and no one can interfere with our will and determination in this matter," said Masoud Pezeshkian, as reported by IRNA on July 30.

Pointing out that Pezeshkian's meetings with the leaders of the Palestinian resistance groups during the first days of his presidency have an important message for the region and the world, al-Nakhalah said: "The oppressed Palestinian people in Gaza are currently standing up against the cruelty of the regime and its supporters in the region."
