Strengthening Sislognas In Logistics Lazuardo Perspective

JAKARTA - Seminar for Increasing Logistics Performance in Indonesia: Reflection, Challenges, and Opportunities for the National Logistics System (Sislognas) which was held in the West Hall of ITB, Bandung, July 25, 2024, was welcomed positively by logistics industry players.

One of them is Purnomo, a land logistics transportation business actor. The President Director of PT. Lazuardo Logistic Indonesia fully supports the government's efforts to encourage digital transformation, the use of single tariff multimodals, optimization of sea toll routes, and strengthening connectivity with the determination of hubs and speech, as well as increasing accessibility between regions.

According to Purnomo, the strengthening of Sislognas can be achieved through programs to strengthen the national logistics ecosystem, programs to strengthen infrastructure and connectivity, programs to increase human resource competitiveness and logistics service providers, as well as digital transformation programs for logistics services.

"Various innovation efforts to improve logistics performance in Indonesia have been made, it's just that this change occurred in the sector which was partial and not fast and precise. It took a comprehensive, fast, and precise change to improve logistics performance in Indonesia so that it could have a significant effect on market arrangements," said Purnomo.

Currently, the readiness of Indonesia's 4.0 industry is still at level 2, so it is necessary to develop logistics human resources that consider the needs of users, body of knowledge, and KKNI.

The national logistics issue is realized as an urgent problem that must be improved significantly, to support more optimal economic growth. Provide certainty of equitable development and ensure the maximum involvement of logistics industry business actors in international supply chain.

Purnomo also hopes that the government will find efforts that can be a stepping step for reducing logistics costs, at the same time ensuring equal distribution of development.

The head of the ITB Logistics Study Center, Titah Yudhistira, recently said that the progress of the logistics industry is very important in supporting the country's economy. Moreover, to realize the vision of Indonesia Gold 2045 requires strengthening national logistics.

"The goal of Sislognas which is targeted in the Presidential Regulation is closely related to reducing logistics costs, availability of basic and strategic commodities, as well as readiness to face the integrity of the ASEAN market which has not been fully fulfilled," said TITah.
