KPU Notes That The 2024 Pilkada Coklit Process Has 99.89 Percent

The General Elections Commission (KPU) reports that the 2024 Pilkada voter data matching and research (coklit) process has reached 99.89 percent, ahead of the closing of the activity stages on Wednesday midnight.

"As of today, at 12.00 p.m., based on data we collect from the Republic of Indonesia obtained from the e-collite application, it has been recorded that 99.89 percent of it has been hacked," said Head of the Indonesian KPU's Data and Information Technology Division Betty Epsilon Idroos at the Jakarta Presidential Palace complex, Wednesday, July 24, confiscated by Antara.

He said, today is the last day for the illegal activities that have been rolling since June 24, 2024 in all regions in Indonesia.

"Currently, all over Indonesia, there are still illegal activities related to data held by the KPU with population documents that are carried out coming from house to house for investigation by voter data updating officers," he said.

For DKI Jakarta itself, said Betty, the number of voters collected data by the KPU is 8,315,669 and all of them have been hacked.

This number includes the names of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and Iriana Joko Widodo, who today have completed the process of updating voter data.

"Today we are very well received by President Joko Widodo and in one KK Pak Jokowi there are two voters who will exercise their voting rights in accordance with the KK in the document," he said.

According to Betty, the stages of got rid of voter data in Indonesia went smoothly, despite the emergence of a number of dynamics in the areas that are currently being resolved.

"The process of updating voter data still leaves a number of new voters and voters who do not meet the requirements," said Betty.

"Of course there are new voters, voters who do not meet the requirements, who are then updated by the DKI Jakarta KPU. We wait until 24.00 for all of Indonesia," he said.

Betty said that the process of collecting coklit data via the electronic coklit application (e-coklit) has not been fully collected, because a number of officers in areas that have not been touched by the internet are still collecting data manually.

"We are waiting for the data to be inputted by friends when they have an internet network throughout Indonesia," he said.
