SUKABUMI - The District Attorney for Sukabumi City, West Java, has examined dozens of witnesses to investigate the alleged corruption in the management of the 2023 budget warehouse market assets on Jalan Tipar Gede, Sukabumi City. "We have asked for information and are still summoning a number of other witnesses," said Sukabumi City Attorney's Head Setyowati, quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, July 23. According to Setyowati, the examination and summons of this witness for material investigation and gathering various information on a series of investigation processes to shed light on the alleged corruption case. The witnesses who were summoned came from the private sector, market manager and there were also public officials from the Sukabumi City Government. They were asked for their statements to strengthen the evidence. Not only asking for witness statements, officers from the Special Crimes Section of the Sukabumi City Prosecutor's Office are still looking for other evidence related to the alleged corruption case in the management of warehouse market assets.

"For state losses due to alleged corruption, it is still being calculated. Therefore, during this investigation process we continue to collect information and evidence," he said. Setyowati said that she was committed and professional in an effort to uncover cases of alleged corruption and would not be selective.
