Bareskrim Denies The Convicted Kubu Regarding The Re-case Of Vina Cirebon: There Is No Term

The Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police confirmed that they did not hold a case again in handling cases of the alleged murder of Vina and Eky Cirebon.

Instead, investigators will carry out the initial case title process from reports of alleged false information with reported Aep and Dede.

"Regarding the information circulating outside, we straighten it out, that there is no term for a re-case title. What Bareskrim is currently doing, today at 11 o'clock it is scheduled for an initial case," said the Director of General Crimes at Bareskrim Polri, Brigadier General Djuhandani Rahardjo Puro to reporters, Tuesday, July 23.

The news about Bareskrim will carry out a re-case title was conveyed by Jutek Bongso, who is the attorney for the convicts of the Vina Cirebon case.

Djuhandani emphasized that the initial case title was a common thing in the process of investigating cases of alleged criminal acts.

This step was carried out as a follow-up to the reporting carried out by seven convicts of the Vina murder case against Aep and Dede on suspicion of giving false information.

In the initial case title, investigators want to know more about the material, objects, and evidence included in the reporting process.

"So the police report, received at the SPKT, was then sent down from the SPKT to which one handled the report, which if asked about today's connection is the police report to Dede and Aep's brothers," he said.

"So today's activity is an initial case title, we will straighten it out," continued Djuhandani.

Seven convicts in the murder case of Vina and Eky Cirebon reported Aep and Dede on suspicion of giving false information.

The report is registered with the number LP/B/227/VII/2024/SPKT/Bareskrim Polri. The two reported parties are suspected of violating Article 242 of the Criminal Code.

The attorneys for the convicts, Roelly Pangabean, said that Aep and Dede were suspected of conveying lies about the series or chronology of the murder of Vina and Eky. At that time, Aep said that Vina and Eky had been stoned by a group of teenagers who were gathering near the scene.

"Yes, it is clear that the testimony we reported was the activities or lies made by Aep and Dede which stated that they saw the five convicts currently in SMP 11," he said.

"In fact, they weren't there. But it was said there and we saw a lot of them being thrown there, the residents there we took evidence there was no commotion that night," continued Roelly.
