A Week Of Obedient Operations, This Is The Most Type Of Violation

JAKARTA - Operation Patuh Jaya 2024 has been held for a week. As a result, there are still many people who do not obey traffic rules.

Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indradi said the most frequent violations by two-wheeled riders were against the flow and did not use the SNI helmet.

"Against the flow, there were 1,984 violators, the use of the SNI helmet was 1,863 violators, and there were 1,097 violators who violated the markings," said Ade, quoted Monday, July 22.

Meanwhile, the type of propagator that is mostly carried out by four-wheeled vehicles is not using seat belts.

It was recorded that 8,445 motorists violated these rules. Then, there were 172 violations of the rules for misuse of the shoulder of the road.

"Furthermore, there is the use of cellphones while driving, there are 188," he said.

Overall, Polda Metro Jaya took action against 25,827 traffic violators in the Jakarta area and parts of the buffer zone.

Of the tens of thousands of prosecutions, 13,820 of them were sanctioned by ETLE and 12,007 received warnings.

On the other hand, during the implementation of Operation Patuh Jaya 2024, Polda Metro Jaya has carried out preemptive activities in the form of education and counseling and distribution of pamphlets.

"There were 17,288 counseling and distribution activities during Operation Patuh Jaya 2024," said Ade.
