Issue 10 Cagub-Cawagub Decree, Golkar Pasang Tergetang Menang 60 Percent Pilkada 2024

JAKARTA - The Golkar Party has issued a decree to 10 pairs of candidates for governor and deputy governor candidates who will fight in the 2024 Pilkada. Golkar also targets a 60 percent victory for regional elections throughout Indonesia.

"The Golkar Party has so far issued 10 decrees for candidate pairs. Then the candidate pairs for regional head candidates, governors, and deputy governors," said Golkar Party Secretary General Lodewijk F Paulus at the Golkar Party DPP, West Jakarta, Thursday, July 18.

Meanwhile, at the district/city level, Golkar has issued 21 decrees. The pair that has been confirmed will then be promoted into the winning stages.

According to Lodewijk, the 2024 Pilkada process will run quickly. Especially for couples who already have coalition support.

Lodewijk added that the Golkar Party set a winning target of 60 percent. According to him, the target is not too high because in the last Pilkada the banyan party managed to surpass this figure with 61.11 percent winning throughout Indonesia.

"Hopefully by referring, by looking at the evaluation of the presidential and legislative elections, God willing, with the help of fellow journalists as well, we will meet our target of 60 percent," said Lodewijk. East Java: Khofifah Indar Parawansa-Emil Dardak.
