PKB Ensures That Gus Yusuf Becomes A Central Java Cagub, A Recommendation Letter Is Signed

JAKARTA - PKB confirmed to carry the Chairman of the Central Java PKB DPW, Yusuf Chudlori or Gus Yusuf, as a candidate for governor of Central Java 2024. PKB Deputy Chairman Jazilul Fawaid said a recommendation letter for Gus Yusuf was only signed by PKB General Chair Muhaimin Iskandar (Cak Imin).

"In Central Java Gus Yusuf, we encourage him to become governor. If Gus Yusuf is a party administrator, chairman of the DPW, let him write it himself. If Gus Yusuf is there, the recommendation is at the regional level, there is a DPP, the final decision is that all recommendations are in the DPP," said Jazilul, Wednesday, July 17.

Jazilul said PKB had established communication with PKS and Democrats to carry Gus Yusuf. Regarding the cawagub, he said, it was still matching the coalition party.

"Yesterday we also communicated with PKS with other party parties, with the Democrats. (The duet) hasn't yet, we still match it," he said.

Jazilul revealed that PKB did not issue a simultaneous Pilkada recommendation letter. If there is a cagub that will be carried out, he said, his name will be immediately announced by the DPP.

"There is no date rule, which is clear from below, the DPP will discuss it and at the same time communicate with other party parties," said Jazilul.

"Well, specifically for Central Java, there has begun to be a lockdown to Gus Yusuf, only what coalition parties are, whose representatives will be determined when this coalition has crystallized and has the same determination to move forward," he concluded.
