BSSN Ensures Government Service System Recovers End Of July

JAKARTA - Head of the National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN) Hinsa Siburian ensures that the community service system in all agencies will fully recover by the end of July.

"We hope that this month we will finish. Until now we are still at the recovery stage," Hinsa said as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, July 17.

According to Hinsa, currently his party is still trying to restore the Temporary National Data Center (PDNS) 2 system related to data processing in several agencies.

During the process, his party prioritizes fixing systems related to community services.

Hinsa also mentioned that one of the systems that her party has established is Immigration, which is currently functioning as before.

When asked about the obstacles experienced by BSSN in fixing PDNS 2, Hinsa was reluctant to answer and immediately left reporters.

Previously, Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs (Menko Polhukam) Hadi Tjahjanto said as many as 86 services from 16 service owners had been active during service recovery at PDNS 2.

"As of July 12 at 17.30 WIB, 86 services from 16 ministries, institutions, and local governments have been provided," Hadi said in an official written statement in Jakarta, Saturday (13/7).

He stated that efforts to restore PDNS 2 services were carried out by a team consisting of the Ministry of Communication and Information (Kemenkominfo), the National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN), PT Telkom Tbk, as well as active participation from all service owners.

In addition to licensing services, he revealed several public services that were successfully restored were also in the form of information services in the form of portals, including scholarship services managed by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbudristek).

Coordinating Minister Hadi said that currently the team is continuing to make efforts to restore public services as soon as possible and continue to pay attention to the aspect of prudence.
