Police Called The Cat Shooter 3 Times With Gotri Bullets In Semarang Recidivist

The police said the cat shooter in Semarang City was a recidivist who committed a criminal act in 2013.

Semarang Police Chief Kombes Pol. Irwan Anwar said the suspect IP (35), a resident of Krobokan, Semarang City, was secured along with evidence of an airsoft gun replica.

The shooting incident itself took place in front of the perpetrator's house in Krobokan, West Semarang on Monday, July 15.

"The perpetrator shot three times with a bullet gun," he said in Semarang, Tuesday, July 16, which was confiscated by Antara.

Meanwhile, according to the perpetrator's statement, the incident was triggered by annoyance against a cat belonging to one of the residents.

According to him, the perpetrator was annoyed because the cat often defecated in the area of his house.

In fact, he continued, the cat allegedly also pounced on its pet dove.

The perpetrator himself had previously reminded the cat owner to place his pet in the cage.

For his actions, the perpetrator was charged with Article 406 of the Criminal Code regarding vandalism.
