East Jakarta Metro Police have named ZMH (21) as a suspect in the stabbing case of a member of the East Jakarta Metro Police, Monday, July 15. For his actions, the suspect with the initials ZMH was charged with multiple articles.

"The suspect was charged with the Emergency Law, Article 212 of the Criminal Code for fighting officers and Article 351 of the Criminal Code regarding persecution. The suspect faces 12 years in prison, from the accumulation of articles," said East Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Nicolas Ary Lilipaly accompanied by Deputy Chief of Police AKBP Burhanuddin to reporters, Monday, July 15.

From the results of the investigation by the investigation team, the suspect ZMH admitted that he was disturbed regarding the presence of members of the National Police at the location of the brawl.

"The motive (motive) was because he was disturbed, because his wish was not achieved, because he was quickly prevented. The perpetrator was conscious (during the slashing of members of the Police)," he said.

The stabbing victim is the Head of the Precision Pioneer Patrol (TPPP) of the East Jakarta Metro Police or the East Jakarta Metro Police Turjawali Head, Iptu Rano Mardani.

The ZMH perpetrator turned to attack police officer Iptu Rano who made prevention efforts at the location of the brawl.

"The victim was injured in the hands and inside. Victim Iptu R has also been taken to the hospital," he said.

Currently, the suspect ZMH is in the detention cell of the East Jakarta Metro Police.

"The evidence confiscated from the perpetrators of sharp weapons of the type of sickle and cast ducks," he said.

Previously, it was reported that the East Jakarta Metro Police had succeeded in apprehending the perpetrators of the stabbing of members of the East Jakarta Metro Police, Monday, July 15.

The perpetrator is known to have the initials ZMH (21) listed as a resident of Jalan Agricultural, Klender Village, Duren Sawit.

The perpetrator tried to escape during the arrest, but his actions were thwarted by members who made the arrests.

"We have processed and have detained him. What is certain is that we will enforce the law for him," said East Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Nicolas Ary Lilipaly, Monday, July 15.
