Persons With Disabilities From Bangka Passed The Selection Of Police Officers, Here's The Comment

JAKARTA - A person with a disability from Bangka Regency, Bangka Belitung Islands Province, was declared to have passed the selection of NCO education in 2024.

"After passing, feelings mixed with joy, emotion, and pride for successfully passing a number of stages of selection," said selection participant Nur Fatia Azzahra in Pangkalpinang, Sunday.

Nur Fatia Azzahra is a person with a disability from Pemali Village, Bangka Regency who registered to become a member of the National Police through a disability route a few months ago.

After following various stages of selection, it was declared that he had passed the final trial of receiving the Second Wave of the 2024 Fiscal Year Police on Friday (5/7).

Nur Fatia is only one step away from realizing her dream of becoming a female police officer (Polwan).

Even though she still has to go through the educational stages, this woman who is familiarly called Fatia feels grateful considering that the struggle during the selection stage has finally paid off.

Moreover, he can prove that physical limitations are not a barrier to why he aspires.

"Currently, I am preparing myself for the departure of education, starting from physical, mental, to other readiness, because I may face new challenges during my education," he told Antara.

Fatia appreciates the police for providing space for disability groups for special selection so that they can contribute in various fields.

He hopes that the struggle to follow Polri's education can provide motivational injections for people with other disabilities.

"I want to see more successful disabilities, always believe in myself. Physical limitations are not the end of everything, prove that disability can also excel," he said.
