Russian Attack In Donetsk Kills 4 People, 9 Others Injured

JAKARTA - A Russian shooting attack killed four people and injured nine others on the eastern front line of Ukraine's Donetsk region.

"In the city of Myrnohrad, two people were killed and six others injured in the attack that took place near the administrative building and bus stop," the governor of the Vadym Filashkin region wrote via Telegram.

A separate attack on an unnamed company in Kostitynivka city killed two civilians and injured three others, he said.

Images from the location he published showed the building's facilities were badly damaged and the bus with a broken window. There was also a car that caught fire and appeared to be thrown sideways as a result of the explosion.

The Donetsk region, which is partly occupied by Russian troops, is often the target of Russian attacks and airstrikes. Moscow denies targeting civilians or civilian infrastructure in its invasion of Ukraine, even though thousands of people have been killed.
