Already Supported By Other Parties, NasDem Just Announced Ahmad Ali Forward To Central Sulawesi Gubernatorial Election

JAKARTA - The NasDem Party today officially announced its suspension to the Deputy Chairperson of NasDem Ahmad Ali as a candidate for Governor of Central Sulawesi (Central Sulawesi).

The submission of recommendations to Ali to run for the Central Sulawesi gubernatorial election was handed over by the NasDem Party Election Winning Body (Bappilu) today.

Meanwhile, previously Ahmad Ali had already received support from several political parties, including Gerindra, PAN, PKB, and PPP.

Ahmad Ali revealed that this investigation recommendation was the answer to public speculation about NasDem's attitude in nominating his cadres in the Central Sulawesi gubernatorial election.

"Today I am in Bappilu to accept the recommendations that many people are waiting for," said Ali at NasDem Tower, Central Jakarta, Friday, July 12.

With this recommendation, Ali emphasized that the NasDem Party engine will move to win the Central Sulawesi gubernatorial election.

"We have to be happy. We have to implement the cheerful politics," said Ali.

On that occasion, Ali admitted that he would focus on agriculture if he won the election contestation. According to him, Central Sulawesi must be able to contribute to food security which brings more value to farmers and the community.

"We will return, we will focus on agriculture. How then agriculture can smile, how then agriculture is no longer haunted by crop failure, which is how agriculture is no longer haunted by tengkulak," he explained.
