The General Election Commission (KPU) of West Sumatra Province (West Sumatra) ensures that the distribution of re-voting logistics (PSU) to disaster-affected areas in Nagari (Village) Singgalang, Tanah Datar Regency arrives on time or before the collection is carried out on July 13, 2024.
"The KPU has coordinated with various parties including the Road Hall and related parties to grant permits for logistics distribution to areas affected by the disaster," said West Sumatra Provincial KPU Commissioner Ory Sativa Syakban in Padang, Friday.
Ory Sativa explained that prior to the implementation of the PSU for prospective members of the DPD RI, there was a polling station (TPS) around Nagari Singgalang, Tanah Datar Regency whose main access was cut off due to being hit by flash floods on May 11, 2024.
He said his party ensured that 252 voters at TPS 01 Nagari Singgalang could channel their political rights through the Anai Valley route which is currently being worked on by Balan Jalan.
"We make sure voters can give their voting rights since 07.00 WIB," he said.
