Dozens Of Motorcyclists Against The Current At The Roxy Mas Wild Crossing Were Ticketed

JAKARTA - Dozens of two-wheeled vehicles that are still determined to fight the flow of traffic on Jalan KH Hasyim Ashari, Gambir District, Central Jakarta, were ticketed by the Central Jakarta Metro Police.

The drivers were ticketed because they were still desperate to cross the current at the scene. They went against the current to cross the illegal railroad crossing (KA) in the Roxy Mas area, Gambir.

The law enforcement activities were carried out by joint officers of the TNI, Polri and Central Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept.

"We give strict action on fines by our ranks on the railway tracks under the Roxy flyover," said Head of Central Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept., Wildan Anwar when confirmed by VOI, Thursday, July 11.

The ticketing process has been given to traffic violators of two-wheeled riders since last Wednesday, July 10.

"Yesterday, 21 two-wheeled vehicles were ticketed for fighting traffic," he said.

As is known, illegal railroad crossings in the Roxy Mas area, Gambir, often cause traffic jams and are prone to traffic accidents. The Central Jakarta City Government plans to close the illegal route.
