Rizieq Shihab Rejects Online Trial, Prosecutors Continue To Read The Indictment, Rizieq's Protest Voice Unheard

JAKARTA - Rizieq Shihab's trial continued even though Rizieq Shihab refused. The prosecutor read out the indictment.

Rizieq Shihab who was in the National Police's Criminal investigation Agency (Bareskrim Polri) room remained standing. He balked at the online trial.

The prosecutor kept reading the indictment. The judge asked Rizieq Shihab to hear the indictment.

Rizieq Shihab still refused. He tried to speak. However, Rizieq Shihab's voice was not heard.

The prosecutor continued to read out the indictment. Today Rizieq Shihab's trial was continued with an agenda for reading the pending indictment.

"Still (offline trial, red) or please have a trial with chairs, tables, and walls," Rizieq Shihab's lawyer, Aziz Yanuar, told VOI, Thursday, March 18.

Rizieq Shihab was charged in two cases. First the Petamburan crowd case, then the lies in the swab test results at the Bogor UMMI Hospital.
