Police Say, Two Sadistic Robbers In Gropet His Hobby Is Drunk, A Neighbor Who Lives In Teluk Gong Jakut

JAKARTA Two sharp armed robbers with the initials RF and AS who acted in a food stall, Jelambar Baru, Grogol Petamburan (Gropet), West Jakarta on Monday, June 10, then threatened a sentence of 9 years in prison.

"The article we apply is Article 365 of the Criminal Code on theft with violence with a maximum penalty of nine years in prison," said Grogol Petamburan Police Chief Kompol Muharam Wibisono, Wednesday, July 10.

The results of the examination showed that the two suspects during their action took cell phones (cell phones) and threatened the victim with a machete.

RF was arrested by officers at the house of his relative, Kuningan, West Java on Monday, July 8, while AS was arrested in Cigudeg, Bogor Regency on Wednesday morning, July 10.

"The RF suspect was the main role, who carried a machete and helped escape by motorbike," said Wibisono.

Wibisono also said that the two suspects before taking action were drunk with alcohol. So that when carrying out the action, the two perpetrators were drunk.

"After we looked into it and we asked for information from the suspect, from the witnesses as well and the people who knew him, these two people had a hobby of getting drunk. So, on the night of the incident on June 10, these two people were drunk," said Wibisono.

The two suspects, said Wibisono, came from Teluk Gong, North Jakarta and were odd workers.

"The odd jobs, so the RF suspects often work where US suspects work, namely workshops. The two of them also have their houses next door to each other," said Wibisono.

When arrested in West Java, said Wibisono, the RF perpetrators were initially cooperative, but when they were brought by the police to look for evidence in Tubagus Angke, West Jakarta on Tuesday (9/7), RF tried to escape and tried to fight the officers.

The police also took decisive action measured by shooting RF in the leg.

"So for the person concerned, why are we taking measured decisive action, because the person concerned initially wanted to run away. When he wanted to run away and the officers tried to secure him again, the person concerned fought back," said Wibisono.

Meanwhile, the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Grogol Petamburan Police, AKP Aprino Tamara, said that the arrest of the suspect took a long time because since taking action, the suspects had no longer used their cellphones.

"So, we are looking for manuals, we visit the hangout, who are often drunk. From there we get information, until we do development until arrest," said Aprino.

The two suspects were proven to have never committed a criminal act before and were proven negative for consuming narcotics.
