Denpasar Mayor Admits He Can't Ban The Opening Of Aksaka Night Clubs

Denpasar Mayor, Bali, I Gusti Ngurah Jaya Negara said the Denpasar City Government could not prohibit the reopening of Akasaka nightclubs when they were supported by regulations or regulations.

"We carry out regulations, if there are rules and they are allowed, we cannot prohibit them," said Jaya Negara, Tuesday, July 9.

The Akasaka nightclub, located in the Simpang Enam area, Denpasar City, is the largest nightclub in the capital city of Bali, which is reopening from Sunday (7/7).

Previously, the Akasaka was closed during the leadership of the Bali Police Chief Petrus Reinhard Golose because it was related to a drug trafficking case in 2017.

"The karaoke permit has been automatically extended, the night entertainment permit is in the province," said Jaya Negara.

Meanwhile, regarding supervision, Jaya Negara said the Denpasar City Government would supervise according to its authority.

"What is clear is that we will carry out supervision according to the authority we have," he said, quoted by ANTARA.
