If The Acting Governor Of DKI And Pramono Meet, PDIP Hopes That The KJP Chaos Will Be Resolved

Secretary of the PDIP faction of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Dwi Rio Sambodo, welcomed the plan for a meeting between the Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta, Teguh Setyabudi, and the elected Jakarta gubernatorial candidate, Pramono Anung, before the change of leadership in Jakarta.

If the meeting is held, Rio hopes that Teguh and Pramono can immediately discuss a number of problems experienced directly by the people of Jakarta.

"I hope that this initiation is more than just a ceremony or formality, there must be concrete alignment steps, not only about policies but also the alignment of performance with all apparatuses and bureaucracy in the DKI Provincial Government," Rio told reporters, Thursday, December 19.

"So that the new Governor of Jakarta can work as well as possible with good performance support from all apparatuses and bureaucracy in the DKI Provincial Government. One example is how to harmonize the chaos of the KJP (Jakartu Jakarta Pintar) which until now cannot be resolved," he added.

Problems regarding the distribution of KJP are often in the spotlight of the DKI Jakarta DPRD based on the complaints they received from the public. Until now, many underprivileged students are not included in the KJP recipients. Thus, the accuracy of the KJP target is considered not in accordance with the conditions of the community.

Rio also appreciated that Teguh, who initiated the meeting with Pramono and his deputy, Rano Karno, was the first step in the transitional leadership period in Jakarta.

"The purpose of this transition is where the elected governor can make new changes or policies without creating chaos from existing development policies as stated in the 2045 DKI RPJPD," said Rio.

Teguh Setyabudi previously invited the candidates for Governor-Deputy Governor of Jakarta Pramono and Rano who received the most votes in the 2024 Pilkada to visit the DKI Jakarta City Hall before the inauguration.

Teguh opened the door to Pramono-Rano to discuss the preparations for the leadership of the winning candidate pair for the Jakarta gubernatorial election so that the transition period runs smoothly.

"We congratulate the elected governor and deputy governor on the trust of the people of DKI Jakarta. While waiting for the official decision from the KPU later, we will try to communicate how there may be messages to us for the transition period," said Teguh at DKI Jakarta City Hall, Tuesday, December 17.

Teguh admitted that his position as Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta has the task of making it easier for the Governor-Deputy Governor of Jakarta to change in the future to run smoothly, as well as aligning the existing DKI Provincial Government program with the new leadership program, to the central government.

However, Teguh is still waiting for the official decision of the DKI Jakarta General Election Commission (KPU) to appoint Pramono-Rano as the elected Governor-Deputy Governor of Jakarta in the 2024 Pilkada.

"We happen to be good with all the candidates, good with the relationship. So, no problem, if we meet, there will be no problem. But we'll see later, right now it hasn't been (determined by the KPU)," said Teguh.
