NTB - The West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) High Prosecutor's Office (Kajati) arrested Ni Wayan Sri Candri Yasa (48), a fugitive in the alleged corruption case of the Swadana Harta Lestari Community Empowerment Mandate Fund (APM), Kediri District, Tabanan, Bali. The suspect was arrested in Mataram City.
Head of the NTB Prosecutor's Office, Enen Saribanon, said that this arrest was a follow-up to the coordination between the Bali Prosecutor's Arrest Team (Tabur) and the NTB Prosecutor's Office regarding the whereabouts of Wayan Sri, who was observed to be in Mataram City.
"After receiving information regarding the location of Wayan Sri's whereabouts in Mataram, the Bali Prosecutor's Office Tabur Team together with the NTB Prosecutor's Office Tabur Team immediately moved and secured the person concerned this afternoon at around 11.00 WITA," Enen said at a press conference in Mataram, Tuesday, July 9, which was confiscated by Antara.
Following up on the arrest, investigators have now named Wayan Sri as a suspect in the alleged corruption case in the management of the APM Swadana Harta Lestari fund for the 2017-2020 period.
"So, Wayan Sri was secured in the status of a witness who was previously recorded as absent from three calls by the Tabanan Kejari investigators so that after security, the person concerned was examined as a witness and continued to determine as a suspect," he said.
By naming Wayan Sri as a suspect, Kajati NTB said the Tabanan Kejari investigators left the detention in the NTB Police detention room.
"The plan is that on Wednesday (10 July) tomorrow, the Tabanan Kejari investigators will bring the person concerned to Bali to undergo a legal process. So, tonight we will temporarily entrust it to the NTB Police," he said.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Special Crimes Section of the Tabanan I Prosecutor's Office, Nengah Ardika, who was also present at the press conference, said that Wayan Sri was the fifth suspect in the case.
"The files of the other four suspects have entered the prosecution stage in court. So, Wayan Sri is the fifth additional suspect," said Ardika.
He said that the Tabanan Kejari investigators had found state financial losses that arose with a value of IDR 5.5 billion.
"From the losses that emerged, our investigators managed to confiscate Rp3.1 billion," he said.
Regarding Wayan Sri's status as a suspect, Ardika said that his criminal suspicion led to the role of Wayan Sri as a data verifier for APM fund borrowers.
"So, in his role, this suspect inputted borrower data without verifying in the field so that allegations of fictitious borrower data emerged," said Ardika.
