JAKARTA - Two people died as a result of a talut landslide that occurred in Mojosongo Village, Jebres District, Solo, Central Java.

Surakarta Basarnas Public Relations Officer Yohan Tri Anggoro said the incident began when the first victim named Wagiyo (74) was sharpening a knife next to his cage. Furthermore, around 16.00 WIB the foundation which was at the top of the cage suddenly collapsed.

Surakarta City Volunteer SAR Chairman Mulyadi said the victim Heri was found after residents carried out manual dredging of the land.
