British Student Group Study Tour To Beach Near Rolling Stones Frontor's House, 1 Student Dies In Waves

JAKARTA - The study of a tour of a school in London to the coastal area of Sussex, England claimed lives. One student died when dragged by the waves.

The 17-year-old victim was found today after arriving with 50 groups of students on a train trip yesterday.

The beach, which is famous for being visited by British celebrities, received reports of missing students yesterday and immediately deployed a search team.

"Emergency services and HM Coastguard were called in to look for boys in the offshore sea of West Wittering at around 1 pm on Tuesday, July 2", said Police spokesman Sussex, quoted from The Sun, Wednesday, July 3.

Police said a number of friends of the students who were traumatized by the loss of their colleagues had received treatment at the hospital.

"Investigations are being carried out to understand the entire incident," said the police spokesman.

A witness said the water on West Wittering beach in the Sussex area was on the ups and downs. Many tourists were on the beach at the time.

"It was really horrendous. The tide was receding at that time," said a witness.

The Sussex area is one of West Wittering's beaches consisting of popular hilly sand in the UK. The area is also known as a celebrity crossing location.

In the area also stands the house of actress Kate Winslet to a number of other celebrities, such as actor Michael Ball, singer Nicholas Lyndhurst and Rolling Stones frontman Keith Richards.
