JAKARTA - The man who attempted rape of a woman who was sunbathing in Central Park, Manhattan, New York, United States (US) was arrested by the police.
Reported by ABC News, Wednesday, July 3, the man, who has not been identified, has not been charged in an attempted sexual assault on a woman on June 24.
The victim was 21, at the time she was alone and sunbathing in the garden section of Great Hill when a man came to her at around 13.30 local time.
"The victim screamed and got up to run, but the perpetrator tackled him from behind and tried to knock him over," said New York Police Department Patrol Chief John Chell.

The victim fought the man and fled immediately. After the incident, the New York Police Department released a sketch of the suspect on June 27.
The attacker is described as a black man in his 30s with curly hair, police said.
