Police Arrest 4-Year-Old Boy In Johar Baru, One Perpetrator Is The Victim's Biological Mother

JAKARTA - Police arrested two child kidnappers with the initials KMA (4) in Johar Baru. The two perpetrators with the initials ANRS (33) and TA (32) were arrested by a joint team in the Bojong Gede area, Bogor, West Java.

The arrest of the perpetrator was carried out based on tracking the license plate of the motorcycle used by the perpetrator was recorded on CCTV.

According to the perpetrator's confession, TA, he was desperate to kidnap KMA, his biological child, because he felt missed his baby after splitting up 3 years after the divorce from her husband.

The arrests of the two perpetrators were made after the victim's father with the initials RAP (32) reported to the Johar Baru Police.

The perpetrator is threatened with Article 330 of the Criminal Code regarding kidnapping with a threat of 7 years in prison.

After receiving the victim's report, the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit AKP Rasid and his members moved quickly to the kidnapping scene to look for witnesses and see CCTV footage.

"From the footage, it can be seen on CCTV that a male and female couple brought the child using a Honda Genio motorbike," said Kasat.
