Accidentally Pulling Motorcycle Gas, Elderly And Toddler Collision Of Indomaret Glass Pondok Kelapa Until It Breaks

JAKARTA The accident incident involving a motorcycle occurred at an Indomaret on Jalan Pondok Kelapa Raya, Pondok Kelapa Village, Duren Sawit District, East Jakarta, on Tuesday night, March 11. In this incident, an elderly man (elderly) and a toddler were injured as a result of broken glass scattered from Indomaret's door.

This incident began when the elderly man brought the toddler he was carrying to visit Indomaret. However, when he was about to park in front of Indomaret's entrance, an unexpected incident occurred.

It is suspected that the toddler who was riding was accidentally pulling the motorcycle gas pedal, so the motorbike drove out of control and hit the Indomaret glass door until it broke.

"The victim was taking money at Indomaret Pondok Kelapa, suddenly a motorbike entered Indomaret. The motorcyclist forgot to turn off his motorbike," said Lutfi, a resident who was at the scene.

As a result of the incident, an elderly man suffered injuries to his leg, while the toddler he was riding suffered head injuries due to being hit by broken glass. The two victims were immediately rushed to the nearest clinic for intensive care.

This incident also shocked several residents who were queuing in front of an ATM machine near the entrance of Indomaret. Several visitors and minimarket employees looked panicked when the motorbike broke into and destroyed the Indomaret glass door.

Meanwhile, this accident case is being handled by the Duren Sawit Police for further investigation. The police will examine CCTV footage and ask for information from a number of witnesses at the scene.

Until this news was published, there had been no official statement from Indomaret regarding the losses suffered as a result of the incident.
