Two detainees under the supervision of the prosecutor fled after attending a trial at the Mataram District Court, West Nusa Tenggara, last Wednesday.
Head of the Intelligence Section of the Mataram Kejari Harun Al Rasyid said that one of the detainees who escaped surrendered to the Mataram Kejari Office.
"One has returned last night, the other has not. Hopefully this afternoon we can meet," he said in Mataram, Antara, Thursday, June 27.
Harun explained that the two prisoners who escaped were defendants in the theft case. Harun dismissed the escape of the two detainees while waiting for the trial to be completed.
He emphasized that both of them fled when the prosecutor's officers took all detainees back to the Class IIA Prison in West Lombok, last Wednesday.
"The flight was right on the way home," he said.
