Medan Polrestabes Sita 11 Kilograms Of Crystal Methamphetamine, 2 People Arrested

JAKARTA - Medan Police, North Sumatra confiscated 11 kilograms of methamphetamine from two different cases in their jurisdiction.

"In the first case, the suspect who was arrested by a man with the initials DS (38) was a resident of Medan and the case of the two men with the initials MA (39) a resident of Medan and LK (41) a resident of Langkat Regency," said Medan Police Chief Kombes Teddy Jhon Sahala Marbun quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, June 26.

Teddy explained that in the first case, officers received information that a man was suspected of distributing methamphetamine-type narcotics on Jalan Sekata, West Medan District, Medan.

Then, the Medan Polrestabes Narcotics Unit officers arrested the suspect DS, precisely at his house, which obtained evidence of 10 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine and cellphones on June 19, 2024.

"As a result of the interrogation, DS's modus operandi admitted that he had been selling methamphetamine since 2022," said Teddy.

The suspect got the evidence from his boss with the initials Z to be circulated. Meanwhile Z is still being investigated by officers.

The two officers arrested the Supreme Court suspect along with evidence of methamphetamine weighing one kilogram on Jalan Gatot Subroto, Medan on June 22, 2024.

Furthermore, officers carried out developments on the MA who wanted to deliver the methamphetamine to suspect S on Jalan Rombong Binjai, Binjai City.

"Then, officers made arrests and took the two suspects to the office for questioning, while B, who played the role of ordering S, was still investigating," he said.
