JAKARTA - The Israeli military (IDF) said Hamas militants fired projectiles at UNICEF's humanitarian aid convoy.
The aid convoy, the IDF said, was coordinated with UNICEF to reunite children from northern Gaza with their families in the south. The attack reportedly took place on Tuesday, June 25.
"During coordinated activities, the Hamas terrorist organization fired projectiles at a humanitarian route near the UNICEF aid convoy and the IDF soldiers who secured the area," he said in a statement accompanied by a video of the attack.
"There were no injuries to international aid workers or IDF soldiers in the attack," the IDF statement said.
