Not Sure To Support Anies In The Jakarta Pilkada, PKB Is Interested In PDIP Offers

Deputy Secretary General of PKB Syaiful Huda stated that his party is not certain to support Anies Baswedan as a candidate for governor in the 2024 Jakarta Pilkada. Huda was actually interested in the offer of PDIP DPP Chairman Eriko Sotarduga to collaborate with the two parties in the Jakarta gubernatorial election and East Java gubernatorial election.

"We are not certain to support Mas Anies, so just wait. We are working on two names," said Huda, Wednesday, June 26.

Huda said the PKB DPP did consider Anies as the Jakarta cagub. However, PKB also wants to propose its cadre who serves as Minister of Manpower, Ida Fauziah.

Huda was then interested in Eriko's offer to invite PKB to form a coalition with PDIP in the Jakarta gubernatorial election and East Java gubernatorial election. Eriko argued that if the Jakarta cagub was by PKB, the East Java cagub would be filled with PDIP.

" Eriko's offer was interesting, withdrew the offer," said Huda.

Huda assessed that the PDIP politician Masinton Pasaribu's offer was also attractive. Where the PKB and PDIP seats are sufficient to be able to carry Anies back forward in the Jakarta gubernatorial election.

"We have two names, what is clear is that Eriko's offer is interesting, I think including Masinton's offer is interesting. Because it places a party equivalent to a seat configuration," he said.
