The Pulogadung Police managed to apprehend one of the perpetrators of the attack on a 14-year-old child who was killed by a block on his head, in Jatinegara Kaum, East Jakarta, Thursday, June 20.

The victim is known to be a resident of Jalan Kampung Jati Selatan, RW 08, Jatinegara Kaum Village, Pulogadung District, East Jakarta. Hit by a block on the head while recording an attack by a group of youths.

"Currently we have arrested one of the perpetrators involved in the incident," said Pulogadung Police Chief, Kompol Sutrisno to VOI.

The Pulogadung Police Criminal Investigation Unit is also still hunting for other perpetrators who also stabbed the victim F (30), a resident of South Jati Village.

"We have pocketed several names suspected of being other perpetrators and are being pursued," he said.

Kompol Sutrisno also hopes for support from the community so that they can immediately arrest the other perpetrators. His party is waiting for information from the public who knows about the incident and identify the perpetrators.

"We ask for prayers and the community, hopefully we can arrest the perpetrators who fled and the legal process can be carried out immediately," he said.

Previously, it was reported that F (30), a young man from South Jati Village, died after being beaten with a sharp weapon by a group of people.

The incident occurred on Jalan Kampung Jati Selatan, RW 08, Jatinegara Kaum Village, Pulogadung District, East Jakarta.

"The victim with the initials F, aged 30 years. He was injured in the head because he was stabbed," said the man with the initials N, an eye witness to the incident to VOI, Thursday, June 20.

N further said that the attack occurred when N and his other colleagues were burning the satay of sacrificial meat in the Jalan Kampung Jati Selatan neighborhood.
