Hasto Kristiyanto Staff Kusnadi Claims There Was No Conversation About Harun Masiku On The Cellphone Confiscated By The KPK

JAKARTA - PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto's staff, Kusnadi, claimed that there was no discussion about Harun Masiku on the cellphone that was confiscated by investigators from the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).

Kusnadi conveyed this claim after being examined as a witness in the Harun Masiku case today. After being examined for 8.5 hours from 10.00 WIB until 18.30 WIB, he revealed that the conversation on Hasto's cellphone and his belongings was only about the payment of party events.

"There is no conversation (with, red) HM, yes (there is, red) a normal conversation (about, red) payments," Kusnadi told reporters at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Wednesday, June 19.

Likewise, conversations with other parties who have been examined as witnesses in the Harun Masiku case, Simeon Petrus. This figure is a lawyer and also a PDIP cadre.

As for the conversation about the payment, Kusnadi said that he had nothing to do with Harun but party affairs. One of them is paying for a puppet event at the PDIP DPP Party School, Lenteng Agung, Jakarta which was held a few days ago during the Bung Karno Month celebration.

"Yes, payment, wayang payment. Yesterday, the payments were just payments," he said.

As previously reported, Harun Masiku became a fugitive after being named a suspect in giving bribes to former KPU Commissioner Wahyu Setiawan to serve as a member of the DPR through the interim shift (PAW). The investigators have examined four witnesses to find his whereabouts after pocketing new information. One of them is PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto on Monday, June 10. During the examination, KPK investigators also confiscated cellphones and notebooks which claimed to contain the winning of the 2024 Pilkada held by Hasto Kristiyanto Staff, Kusnadi. This made PDIP suspect that politicization had occurred. In addition, the confiscation resulted in reporting to the KPK Supervisory Board to Komnas HAM. Anti-corruption commission investigators are considered to have worked by not following the applicable rules.
