Hasto Kristiyanto's Kusnadi Staff Questioned About The Existence Of Harun Masiku

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) said there were a number of things that investigators investigated from the staff of the PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto, Kusnadi today. One of them is the presence of the briber former KPU commissioner Wahyu Setiawan, Harun Masiku who is still at large.

"The examination in question is related to the case being handled, namely the suspect HM and matters related to the whereabouts of HM itself, approximately like," said KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardika to reporters at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Wednesday, June 19.

Tessa refuses to elaborate further on Harun's whereabouts. Likewise with the party suspected of helping the former PDIP candidate escape.

"In detail, we can't provide information yet because it's still in process. We'll just have to wait for the process," he said.

Meanwhile, Kusnadi is still undergoing examination until this news is published since 10:00 WIB.

He was questioned after investigators confiscated Hasto's cellphone and notes from his hands when accompanying the politician to be questioned at the KPK's Red and White Building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta on Monday, June 10.

As previously reported, Harun Masiku became a fugitive after being named a suspect in giving bribes to former KPU Commissioner Wahyu Setiawan to serve as a member of the DPR through the interim shift (PAW). The investigators have examined four witnesses to find his whereabouts after pocketing new information. One of them is PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto on Monday, June 10. During the examination, KPK investigators also confiscated cellphones and notebooks which claimed to contain the winning of the 2024 Pilkada held by Hasto Kristiyanto Staff, Kusnadi. This made PDIP suspect that politicization had occurred. In addition, the confiscation resulted in reporting to the KPK Supervisory Board to Komnas HAM. Anti-corruption commission investigators are considered to have worked by not following the applicable rules.
