MATARAM - Mataram City Police (Polresta), West Nusa Tenggara, arrested a parking attendant (jukir) who stole a two-wheeled vehicle at a shopping center on the grounds of buying methamphetamine. "So, the pretext is stealing because you need a motorbike (two-wheeled vehicle) to go buy crystal methamphetamine," said Head of the Mataram Police Satreskrim Kompol I Made Yogi Purusa Utama in Mataram, Antara, Wednesday, June 19. This confession was obtained from the results of the examination of the perpetrator with the initials DS (24), from Cakranegara, Mataram City who was arrested last Tuesday night last Wednesday morning, the crime scene (TKP) was processed, one of which was CCTV footage at the location. Now, the perpetrator and the evidence of the theft have been secured at the Mataram Police. From the investigation process, the police have named DS as a suspect suspected of violating Article 363 of the Criminal Code regarding theft. "So, we have named the perpetrator as a suspect and detained him. For evidence of the victim's vehicle, we have secured it at the Polresta," he said. With the disclosure of this case, Yogi appealed to the people of Mataram City to remain vigilant against vehicle theft. He asked the public to pay attention when storing vehicles in public parking locations.

"Like in this case, the chances of action by big actors are because the vehicle keys are still stuck, and it happened in the morning. So, this perpetrator easily takes them away," said Yogi.
