Convict In Robbery Case Found Dead In Class IIA Tangerang Prison Room

TANGERANG - An inmate named Habibi Albar Bin Winarno was found dead in the Class IIA prison in Tangerang, Wednesday morning, June 19. Habibi's body was found in the neck position tied to the attached pants, in the victim's prison room.

The head of the Class II A Youth Correctional Institution, Wahyu Indarto, confirmed the incident.

"It is true that the block officer found one of the inmates on behalf of Habibi Albar Bin Winarno suspected of committing suicide," Wahyu said in his statement, Wednesday, June 19.

Wahyu explained that the discovery began when block officers saw Habibi directly unconscious himself in a tied neck with his pants attached.

Then, the body of the convict of the robbery case was taken to the clinic. However, the victim was declared dead.

Furthermore, the prison contacted the Tangerang City Metro Police for identification of the bodies.
