Lawyer Says Kusnadi Will Fulfill KPK Calls, Investigators Asked For Professionals

JAKARTA - Kusnadi's lawyer, Ronny Talapessy, said his client would fulfill the summons of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) today, Wednesday, June 19. PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto's staff will be examined as a witness in the Harun Masiku case. "Brother Kusnadi will be present," said Ronny when confirmed by VOI via text message, Wednesday, June 19. Robin asked for this examination to be carried out professionally. Investigators must carry out their duties according to the provisions of the law. "We ask investigators to act professionally in examining the provisions of the applicable law," said the lawyer who is also the PDIP cadre. Previously, Kusnadi, who is a staff of PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto, was not present at the summons on Thursday, June 13. He said he was still traumatized by being questioned by investigators and asked for examination to be carried out after investigators confiscated cellphones and records belonging to Hasto from Kusnadi on Monday, June 10. This forced effort was carried out in conjunction with Hasto's examination after investigators obtained new information on Harun's whereabouts.

Furthermore, this confiscation also led to a report to the KPK Supervisory Board. Hasto's camp assessed that Kusnadi was not a related party in the Harun Masiku case. Moreover, the confiscation was claimed to have begun by deceiving Kusnadi who was accompanying and waiting for Hasto outside the KPK's Red and White Building.
