Lampung Residents Are Advised To Buy 3 Kg LPG At The Official Base, Guaranteed For Quality

JAKARTA - Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Sumbagsel appealed to Lampung residents to buy 3 kg LPG at the official base with guaranteed prices and quality.

"We hope that consumers buy 3 kilograms of LPG at Pertamina's official base and don't buy it at retailers or stalls," said South Sumatra's Area Manager Communication, Relations & CSR, Tjahyo Nikho Indrawan, in a statement in Bandarlampung, Saturday.

In addition, he ensured that the stock and distribution of 3 kilograms of LPG (kg) through agents and bases continued to run smoothly to meet the needs of the people in Lampung Province.

In anticipation of the potential for increasing needs in the community ahead of Eid al-Adha, Pertamina has increased its facultative supply in June 2024 by 596,400 tubes in Lampung Province.

"In realizing targeted distribution, Pertamina continues to coordinate with the government and law enforcement officials, and Pertamina does not hesitate to impose sanctions if there are agents and bases that are proven to have committed fraud in any form, including those related to the distribution of subsidized LPG," he said.

He said that in order to ensure that the subsidized LPG could be directly accepted by the entitled community, Pertamina Patra Niaga Sumbagsel together with the Mesuji Regency Government, Lampung held a market operation in the Simpang Market area of Mesuji Regency, with a total of 280 tubes being distributed.
