Police Raise Ria Ricis's Report Status To Investigation Stage

The police raised the status of artist Ria Ricis's report regarding the alleged threat and extortion of Rp. 300 million to the investigation stage.

The Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indardi, said that this case had been raised after a case title was carried out by his party.

"The alleged extortion case experienced by sister RR has gone up to the investigation stage," Ade Ary told reporters, Tuesday, June 11.

The former South Jakarta Metro Police Chief said the case reported by Ria Ricis was being investigated by his party.

Previously, artist Ria Ricis was suspected of being a victim of threats and extortion by unknown people. Ricis said that he was threatened and blackmailed with his personal data.

"Today I carried out further investigations regarding extortion and threats using personal data," said Ria Ricis at Polda Metro Jaya, Monday, June 10.

Ricis said that this incident he suffered a loss because he was not the only victim of threats but also his employees.

"Here I feel aggrieved and very threatened of course. Not only to me, but there are on several parties such as the management team, even the family, even those closest to them have also been affected," he added.
