Families Of All Nite & Day Serpong Hotel Fire Victims Disappointed With The Evacuation Process Not Using Ambulances

TANGERANG - The family of Oky Dwi Putra, who died in the fire at the All Nite & Day Alam Sutera Hotel, North Serpong, South Tangerang, admitted that they were disappointed with the handling of the victims during the evacuation process.

According to his confession, the victim was taken by patrol car at that time, so that on the way the victim did not get oxygen as an aid.

The victim's family also considered that this method showed no responsibility from the hotel.

"My sister was taken in a patrol car, not an ambulance," said the victim's brother Desty Rahma when met at the Pondok Aren funeral home, South Tangerang.

When he was put on patrol, continued Desty, his sister was not given oxygen. So that at that time the victim was dehydrated until he finally died.

"And not given oxygen. Already taken to the hospital which is a bit twisted (path)," he said.

Desty asked the Hotel to explain the chronology of the fire incident. Moreover, Desty admitted that he was not allowed to see the hotel's CCTV footage at the time of the incident.

"That's why I tried to ask the hotel about the reason. I asked for CCTV, he didn't give it. He said it had been handed over to the police," he concluded.

Three employees died in a fire incident at the Allnite & Day Alam Sutera Hotel, North Serpong, South Tangerang, Saturday, June 8, at 15.30 WIB. The identities of the victims who died were Dimas Hariyadi, Oky Dwi Putra and Hendy Ruspandi.
