The Finding Of Cigarette Profits Suspected Of Being The Cause Of The Fire At The Allnite & Day Alam Sutera Hotel

TANGERANG - Police are coordinating with the Forensic Laboratory Center (Puslabfor) to investigate the cause of the Allnite & Day Hotel fire in the Alam Sutera area, North Serpong, South Tangerang.

Head of Public Relations of the South Tangerang Police, AKP Agil, explained that a number of investigations were carried out by his party to determine the cause of the fire at the Allnite & Day Hotel which resulted in 3 deaths.

"Investigators have also coordinated with the puslabfor so that the investigation process is carried out scientifically," said Agil when confirmed, Monday, June 10.

When asked about the number of witnesses examined, he was reluctant to answer. Agil said that he would convey the whole thing after his party was able to conclude the cause of the fire.

"So far, the investigation process is still in progress. Please be patient, later it will just be concluded," he said.

As is known, the Head of Resmob of the South Tangerang Police, Ipda Andira Wigata, said that the initial fire was suspected to be due to an electrical short circuit. However, after being investigated, a new suspicion emerged, namely the discovery of cigarette butts at the temple location.

"But after seeing again, there were cigarette butts found there. So between the two, later we will do an in-depth investigation," Andira said when confirmed, Sunday, June 9.

Andira said that his party had examined a number of witnesses and CCTV at the scene.

"This is negligence caused by visitors or managers," he said.
