JAKARTA - The Honda Mobilio car was involved in a series of accidents crashing into a number of motorbikes and bajaj in front of Atrium Senen Mall, Senen District, Central Jakarta on Thursday, June 6, afternoon. The incident occurred at around 17.10 WIB.

As a result of the accident, the car driver hit a motorbike driven by a woman and fell and was dragged along 20 meters. The victim suffered serious injuries from a hard impact and was dragged from the motorbike after being hit by a car.

It was later discovered that the car driver had epilepsy while driving his car before the accident occurred.

"The driver of a boy's car, alone. (the driver of the car) Sick of epilepsy then probably fainted in the car. (the car) Struggling there, but he finally stopped hitting Bajaj. One motorbike driven by a woman was dragged about 20 meters," said a member of the Senen Police Traffic Unit at the scene told reporters.

In addition, the motorbike driven by the victim was also run over by the car wheel until the motorcyclist was dragged. The victim was taken to the nearest clinic by another passing motorist.

"(Initially the car) hit the motorbike, hit the bajaj and hit the pavement and then stopped (the car) because it couldn't move anymore. The motorcyclist and car were taken to Kramat 128 Hospital, Senen," he said.

As of Thursday afternoon, Senen Police Traffic Police officers were still securing the scene while waiting for a tow truck.

"The driver of the car is about 35 years old. The victim's motorbike was dragged. The car just stopped when it hit Bajaj," he said.

Traffic flow at the scene of the incident experienced vehicle congestion due to the successive accident.
