Police Name 3 Suspects In The ART Case Jumping From The 3rd Floor Of The Employer's House

TANGERANG Police have named three perpetrators as suspects in the aftermath of the death of a Household Assistant named Cici (16), as a result of jumping from her employer's house in the Cimone Permai area, Karawaci, Tangerang City.

Tangerang City Metro Police Chief, Kombes Zain Dwi Nugoroho said the three suspects had the initials J, K and L.

"Then from the results of our pekara title, we have named 3 people as suspects, first the initials J, L and K," said Zain to reporters at the Tangerang District Hospital, Wednesday, June 5.

Zain said the three suspects had their respective roles in the ART case that was killed.

For suspect J, he acts as a distributor and prepares a fake ID card for Cici whose age has been changed to adulthood.

Then for K is the person who helps make fake ID cards with a reward of IDR 300 thousand.

"K helps create a new KTP in the name of the victim in exchange for Rp300 thousand in cash," he said.

Meanwhile, L is the employer of the ART. He was suspected of physically and psychologically abused, so the victim decided to jump from the 3rd floor of his house.

"It is suspected that L has committed physical and psychological violence against the victim. So the victim was depressed and tried to escape. At the time above (3rd floor) he tried to escape, but there was no other way. Finally, Cici jumped down so that the person carrying this was injured, either it was broken in the legs and back," he said.

For their actions, the three perpetrators were charged with Article 263 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 264 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 333 of the Criminal Code.

"Article that was violated by law is law No. 21 of 2007 concerning trafficking in persons, then Law No. 35 of 2014 which has been changed to Law No. 23 of 2002 concerning child protection," explained the Police Chief.

"Then Law number 23 years. 2004 concerning the eraser of domestic violence, then Law number 13 of 2003 concerning employment, as well as Article 263 of the Criminal Code, 264 of the Criminal Code concerning forgery and Article 333 of the Criminal Code," said Zain.
